Meatballs in Sweet & Sour Ankake Sauce

  1. Finely chop the Japanese leeks, and soak the panko in milk.
  2. Add salt and pepper to the ground meat, and knead until it all sticks together, add the above-mentioned Japanese leeks, bread crumbs, and katakuriko and mix together.
  3. Roll into balls after mixing, and fry them in 360F/180C oil in a pan.
  4. Mix the seasoning.
  5. Take the meatballs out after they are fried, wipe the grease, add to the same pan, and turn on the heat.
  6. Mix the ingredients, adding a bit at a time after bringing to a boil to thicken .
  7. After it has thickened, return the meatballs to the pan, coat with the mixture, and you are done.
  8. I sprinkled white sesame on top for decoration.
