Quick Microwaved Simmered Apples
- Cut the apple into 5 mm wedges.
- Place the apple and raisins in a microwave safe container and microwave at 600 W for 1-1.5 minutes.
- Cook until the apple is soft, moist and translucent.
- Continue cooking in residual heat until transparent.
- If it is not quite transparent, mix it and microwave it again.
- When the apple cools down, chill in a refrigerator until cold.
- Room temperature is OK in winter.
- It gets sweeter by chilling it.
- Drain the liquid and use it in sweets or bread.
- Add some sugar If you prefer to eat it while it is still warm.
- This is our family's favorite sandwich.
- Everyone seems to get excited when I serve it.
- You can also sandwich these simmered apples in butter rolls.
