Stuffed Shells or Manicotti..Chef's Choice!

  1. Cover bottom of a 9 x 13 casserole pan with Pasta sauce.
  2. Fillings:
  3. Meat Saute Italian sausage, drain fat.
  4. Add onion and garlic and saute until moisture is gone.
  5. Add spinach and cook until tender.
  6. Remove from heat and add salt and pepper to taste When cool, add grated mozzarella cheese.
  7. Combine well.
  8. Cheese: Combine all ingredients
  9. Shells: Boil shell noodles according to package instructions; drain and cool with cold water.
  10. Stuff 1/2 shells with meat mixture and 1/2 with ricotta cheese mixture.
  11. Put in casserole dish covered with pasta sauce.
  12. Cover shells with more sauce and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  13. Manicotti: Open package of egg roll wrappers and lay on dinner plate
  14. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes at 350F (180C) or until shells are very hot.
