My Family's Standby Meatballs in Teriyaki Sauce
- 200 grams Ground meat
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 Onion
- 2 tbsp Katakuriko
- 1 dash Salt and pepper
- 1 dash Nutmeg
- 1 tsp Sake
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 2 tbsp Sake
- 2 1/2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Mirin
- 2 tbsp Katakuriko slurry
- Put the ground meat, egg, finely chopped onion, salt and pepper, nutmeg, sake and flour in a plastic bag, and knead well.
- Take out spoonfuls of the mixture and roll into balls with your hands.
- Deep fry until browned.
- Drain the fried meatballs on a plate lined with paper towels.
- Put the thickened teriyaki sauce ingredients in a frying pan and heat.
- When the sauce comes to a boil it will have thickened.
- Add the fried meatballs and coat with the sauce.
