Shrimp Marinara

  1. Start the water for pasta.
  2. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-low.
  3. Add garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, until golden.
  4. Add tomatoes, raise heat to medium-high, and let bubble, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes.
  5. Add half the basil, the oregano, pepper & salt.
  6. Stir and taste for seasonings.
  7. Reduce heat to medium and simmer while you cook the pasta.
  8. Just before pasta is done, add shrimp to the sauce; cook until shrimp are firm and pink, about five minutes.
  9. Drain pasta,toss with the sauce and top with remaining basil.
  10. Serve immediateluy.
