Slumgullion
- 1/2 cups Chopped Onion
- 1 stalk Celery
- 1 whole Carrot, Diced
- 1 pound Lean Ground Beef
- 1/2 cups Mushrooms
- 1/4 cups Frozen Peas
- 1/4 cups Frozen Corn
- 1 can Tomato Sauce, Or Diced Tomatoes, Or Stewed Tomatoes
- 1 dash Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 dash Salt And Pepper, to taste
- 1 dash Ketchup To Taste
- 1 dash Barbecue Sauce, To Taste
- 2 cups Cooked Macaroni
- Grated Cheese For Topping (optional)
- Dice onion, celery and carrot.
- In a large skillet, saute onion, carrot and celery in a few tablespoons of oil until soft.
- Brown ground beef until no longer pink.
- Drain fat.
- Add mushrooms, frozen veggies (you can substitute frozen mixed veggies if you wish) and cook until soft and heated through.
- Add tomatoes or tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper, any seasonings you wish to add, and a couple of squeezes of ketchup and barbecue sauce.
- Stir to combine.
- Add the cooked macaroni noodles and stir until combined.
- You can top with grated cheese if youd like.
- You can also add or omit veggies if youd like.
