Salted Nut Roll Recipe

  1. Mix together 1 yellow cake mix, 1 egg, and 1/4 c. melted butter; and press into a 9 x 13 inch pan.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 20 min.
  3. Pour 3 c. of mini-marshmallows over cake and return to oven for 3 min or possibly till marshmallows puff up.
  4. Heat together 1/2 c. white corn syrup, 12 ounces Reese's peanut butter chips, 1/2 c. butter, and 1 tsp.
  5. vanilla.
  6. Pour mix over 2 c. Spanish peanuts and 2 c. Rice Krispies.
  7. Mix and spread mix over cake layer.
  8. Chill and cut into bars.
