Blueberry Struesel Cake

  1. Just follow our simple steps:
  2. Combine 1 cup each 100% wheat bran high fibre cereal and plain yogourt; set aside to soften.
  3. Cream 1/2 cup softened butter or margarine and 3/4 cup granulated sugar until light.
  4. Beat in 1 egg.
  5. Blend 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour and 1 tsp.
  6. Magic Baking Powder into creamed mixture alternately with cereal mixture, mixing well after each addition.
  7. Spread into greased 9-inch square pan.
  8. Spoon 1 pkg.
  9. (300 g) frozen blueberries evenly over surface.
  10. Combine 1/3 cup each sugar and all-purpose flour with 3 Tbsp.
  11. butter or margarine and 1 tsp.
  12. ground cinnamon.
  13. Sprinkle over blueberries.
  14. Bake at 350 F for 55 to 65 minute or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean.
  15. Cool.
