Golden Raisin and Apple Pie

  1. Mix apples, sugar, raisins, tapioca, cinnamon and nutmeg in large bowl.
  2. Let stand 15 minutes.
  3. Prepare pie crusts as directed on package for 2-crust pie, using 9-inch pie plate.
  4. Fill with fruit mixture.
  5. Dot with butter.
  6. Cover with second pie crust; seal and flute edge.
  7. Cut several slits to permit steam to escape.
  8. Bake at 400F for 45 to 50 minutes or until crust is golden brown and juices form bubbles that burst slowly.
  9. Cool.
