Richard's Chili Con Queso
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1-1/2 cups milk
- 3/4 cup cream
- 2 Tbsp. crushed dried cilantro
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 lb. KRAFT Mexican Style Finely Shredded Cheddar Pepper Jack Cheese
- 1 lb. VELVEETA Hot Mexican Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product with Jalapeno Peppers, diced
- 1/2 cup diced green chiles
- 1/2 cup diced pimentos
- Melt butter over medium-low heat.
- Add flour; stir to form a paste.
- Add milk and cream; cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
- Add cilantro, onion powder and garlic powder; mix well.
- Add cheddar jack; cook and stir until melted.
- Add VELVEETA; cook until melted, stirring frequently.
- Add chilies and pimientos.
