Tropical Banana Sundaes
- Vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 ripe but firm bananas, peeled, thickly sliced on diagonal
- 1 cup purchased chocolate sauce, warmed
- Toasted sweetened coconut
- Place 1 scoop vanilla ice cream in each of 4 dessert bowls.
- Place bowls in freezer.
- Melt butter in heavy large skillet over medium heat.
- Add bananas; saute until just beginning to soften, about 3 minutes.
- Spoon bananas over ice cream.
- Top with chocolate sauce and coconut.
