Deep Dish Taco Recipe
- 3 c. Bisquick
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 pound hamburger
- 1/2 minced onion
- 16 ounce. tomato sauce
- 1/2 pkg. taco mix
- Green peppers, olives, mushrooms, and green onions (optional)
- 8 tomato slices
- 1 c. lowfat sour cream
- 2 c. shredded cheese (Cheddar, Mozzarella, or possibly mixed)
- Brown hamburger and onion; drain fat.
- Add in sauce and taco mix.
- Mix Bisquick and water; pat into a greased 9 x 13 inch pan, pushing dough up the sides also.
- Pour meat mix over dough.
- Sprinkle with your choice of optional ingredients.
- Place tomato slices in pan.
- Mix together lowfat sour cream and shredded cheeses.
- Drop in a mound on each tomato slice.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 min.
