Gourmet Steakhouse Pizza
- 1/4 cups Olive Oil
- 2 teaspoons Minced Garlic
- 1 teaspoon Steaksauce Of Your Choice
- 3 dashes Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 can Refrigerated Pizza Crust Cough, 13.8 Ounce Size
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 4 ounces, weight Mushrooms, Sliced
- 1/2 Red Onion, Sliced
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- 1 pound Steak, Cut Of Your Choice
- 1 cup Shredded Italian Cheese Mix (Typically Mozzarella, Parmesan, And Romano)
- 1 cup Spinach, Torn Into Pieces
- 1/2 cups Bleu Cheese Crumbles
- Season your steak with salt and pepper and allow to marinate for at least an hour.
- prior to starting.
- Preheat oven to 400 F.
- Roll out the refrigerated pizza crust and put it onto your pizza pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
- In a blender, pulse together 1/4 cup olive oil, minced garlic, steak sauce and red pepper flakes.
- Remove crust from oven, spread sauce mixture evenly over dough.
- In the meantime, in a skillet over medium heat, saute the onions and mushrooms in the remaining olive oil until they reach your desired tenderness.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Using either a grill pan or an outdoor grill over medium high heat, prepare your steak until it is medium-rare.
- For medium rare this should take about 6 minutes per side but will depend on the thickness of the steak.
- Remove steak from heat and let it rest for a few minutes, then slice into thin strips.
- Place sauted mushrooms and onions over the sauced dough and then sprinkle the Italian cheeses over top.
- Bake in the oven for 10-15 more minutes.
- When the cheese is melted, remove the pizza from oven.
- Distribute steak strips over the top, along with torn spinach and bleu cheese crumbles.
- Enjoy!
