Nutritious Rice Flour Pancakes for Weaning Babies
- 30 grams Rice flour (or joshinko)
- 50 grams Kinako
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 85 grams Water (soy milk or milk)
- Combine and sift the rice flour, kinako, baking powder, and sugar.
- I like to place the ingredients in a bag and shake.
- Add the soy milk and mix.
- Be careful not to over-knead.
- The dough will be a bit stiff, but don't add water!
- Spread some oil (not listed) on your heated electric griddle and pour the batter onto the griddle using a spoon.
- Don't worry about its shape here.
- Once one side has cooked, turn your pancake over, then press down on it using a spatula.
- Flatten to a thickness of about 1.5 cm.
- Turn over repeatedly and once both sides have cooked to a nice browned color, it's done!
