Corn Fritters

  1. Beat egg in a large bowl.
  2. Stir in milk, can of corn with sweet peppers and 1 tbsp.
  3. oil.
  4. Add and beat in flour, baking powder, salt and pepper.
  5. Drop tbsp.
  6. of the mixture into deep or shallow hot oil heated to 375F.
  7. Fry until golden brown, 2 to 3 minutes on each side.
  8. Drain on paper towels.
  9. Serve hot.
  10. If desired, serve with a syrup.
