Sausage Quiche Recipe
- 1 pound mild sausage
- 1 1/2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese, divided
- 4 Large eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 c. minced, fresh spinach (optional)
- 2 c. lowfat milk
- 1 c. Bisquick
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- 1/4 c. minced green pepper
- Sprinkle cooked sausage and 1/2 of the cheese in 10 inch greased pie plate.
- Beat remaining ingredients till smooth, 15 seconds in blender on high, or possibly 1 minute with electric beater.
- Pour into plate, sprinkling remaining half of cheese on top.
- Bake till knife inserted in center comes out clean, 35-40 min, in preheated oven at 400 degrees.
- Cold 5 min.
