Sweet tart chicken
- 1 lb chicken breasts
- pinch pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp ginger paste
- Spray skillet with non stick cooking spray and heat on medium high.
- Pound chicken to 3/8" thickness.
- Season on both sides with pepper and place in pan.
- Cook until brown, about 4 minutes, then flip.
- Cook an additional 4 minutes.
- Meanwhile, whisk together remaining ingredients.
- When chicken is brown on both sides, pour the sauce over chicken.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes, or until chicken is tender and cooked through and sauce is reduced.
