Veal, Peppers And Mushrooms Recipe
- 1 1/2 lbs. veal steak, about 1/2 inch thick
- 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 1 c. white wine
- 1 lg. green pepper, cut in thin strips
- 1 lg. red bell pepper, cut in thin strips
- 1/4 pound sliced fresh mushrooms
- Cut veal into 6 serving pcs.
- Mix flour, salt, paprika, garlic pwdr, Italian seasoning and peppers.
- Coat veal with flour mix.
- Pour till 1/4 inch thick.
- Heat oil in skillet till warm.
- Cook veal in oil till brown on both sides.
- Remove meat to hot serving platter.
- Keep hot.
- Add in wine to pan juice; heat to boiling, scraping up all brown pcs till slightly thickened.
- Add in peppers and mushrooms.
- Cook a few min just till tender.
- Pour over veal and serve.
