Savory Red Chili
- 1 lb cooked and drained ground beef (can use turkey also)
- 2 can Pinto beans
- 1 can red kidney beans
- 1 can chili beans
- 1 can Sweet kernel corn
- 1 large chopped onion
- 1 chopped zucchini
- 2 clove garlic
- 2 1/2 tbsp red chili powder
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 1/2 cup water
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- Combine water, flour and whisk.
- Poor into crock pot.
- This thickens chili.
- Turn on low heat.
- Add your cooked beef, cans of beans and corn.
- In a skillet saute onions, garlic and zucchini in olive oil until tender.
- Add onions and zucchini to crock pot.
- Add tomatoes, chili powder and salt.
- Cook on low heat for 3 hours or high heat 2 hours.
- (Stove top method can be used.
- 1 hour on med-low heat )
