Sheri's red beans and rice

  1. Drain your beans that you soaked add fresh water enough to cover by 3 inches
  2. Add sausage that you have sliced
  3. Now add every thing but the hot rice to your beans
  4. Bring to a boil then lower heat and simmer
  5. Mine took about 2 hours to cook and thicken you want a nice thick pot licker on yor beans
  6. Put rice in a bowl add your beans on top pass hot sauce for extra heat
  7. Enjoy!
