Cheddar and Grilled Onion Burgers

  1. Heat barbecue to medium-high heat.
  2. Reserve 1 tsp.
  3. garlic for later use.
  4. Mix remaining garlic with meat and 3 Tbsp.
  5. barbecue sauce just until blended; shape into 4 (1/2-inch-thick) patties.
  6. Grill meat patties and onions 5 min.
  7. on each side or until burgers are done (160F) and onions are crisp-tender, brushing onions with remaining barbecue sauce for the last minute.
  8. Remove onions from barbecue.
  9. Top burgers with cheese; grill 1 to 2 min.
  10. or until melted.
  11. Meanwhile, place buns, cut sides down, on barbecue grate; grill until toasted.
  12. Mix Miracle Whip and reserved garlic until blended; spread onto cut sides of top halves of buns.
  13. Fill buns with arugula, cheeseburgers and onions.
