Broccoli Onion Soup Recipe
- 1 med Sweet onion, minced
- 2 Tbsp. Butter or possibly margarine
- 2 pkt (8 ounces each) cream cheese, cubed
- 2 c. Lowfat milk
- 2 x Chicken bullion cubes
- 1 1/2 c. Boiling water
- 1 pkt Frzn minced broccoli (10 ounces) cooked and liquid removed
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- Saute/fry onion in butter till tender.
- Add in cream cheese and lowfat milk; stir over low heat till cheese is melted.
- Dissolve bullion in boiling water; add in to cream cheese mix.
- Stir in broccoli, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
- Heat thoroughly.
