Biscotti Di Regina Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Sift flour, sugar and baking pwdr in medium bowl.
  3. Blend in butter, egg and vanilla with a wooden spoon.
  4. Press dough together with hands.
  5. Roll about 1/2 c. dough into 3/4 inch rope.
  6. Cut rope into 1 1/2 inch lengths.
  7. Roll each piece in sesame seeds to coat completely.
  8. Arrange on ungreased baking sheets, spacing 1/2 inch apart.
  9. Repeat with rest of dough.
  10. Bake till light and golden brown, about 18 min.
  11. Cold completely on racks.
  12. Store in airtight container.
  13. Makes 4 1/2 dozen crisp cookies.
