Biscotti Di Regina Recipe
- 1 1/4 c. flour
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 6 tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 3/4 c. sesame seed
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Sift flour, sugar and baking pwdr in medium bowl.
- Blend in butter, egg and vanilla with a wooden spoon.
- Press dough together with hands.
- Roll about 1/2 c. dough into 3/4 inch rope.
- Cut rope into 1 1/2 inch lengths.
- Roll each piece in sesame seeds to coat completely.
- Arrange on ungreased baking sheets, spacing 1/2 inch apart.
- Repeat with rest of dough.
- Bake till light and golden brown, about 18 min.
- Cold completely on racks.
- Store in airtight container.
- Makes 4 1/2 dozen crisp cookies.
