Meatball Sub
- 1 lb NY strip or boneless steak ground by butcher
- 4 clove Garlic- crushed
- 1 each Shallot - minced
- 1 each Egg
- 3 slice Italian bread soaked in milk
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese -shredded
- 1 cup Ricotta
- 1 bunch Basil leaves chopped
- 1 Salt and pepper
- 28 oz Canned whole tomatoes
- 1 each Shallot - minced
- 3 clove Garlic crushed
- 1 bunch Basil leaves chopped
- 1 Fresh oregano
- 1 Salt and pepper
- Set oven for 375AF.
- Put together all ingredients for meatballs.
- Mix by hand until fully incorporated in large bowl.
- Makes small balls.
- Place them on cookie sheet with wiped olive oil.
- Bake for 25 minutes.
- In a large pot SautAS garlic and shallot in olive oil.
- Crush can of tomatoes and add.
- Add salt and pepper.
- Let cook for 10 minutes.
- Add basil and oregano.
- Carefully add meatballs into sauce.
- Dress hoagie roll with sauce and meat balls.
- Cheese if you like.
