Chardonnay, Lemon and Herb Steaming Liquid

  1. Combine the wine, water, bay leaf, rosemary, thyme, peppercorns and lemon in the bottom of the desired steaming equipment.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 minute.
  4. Begin steaming.
  5. Add boiling water if too much of the liquid evaporates before cooking is complete.
