Belgian Waffles Recipe
- 2 cup. Bisquick Original baking mix
- 1 1/3 cup. lowfat milk
- 2 Tbsp. veg. oil
- 1 pc egg.
- Heat Belgian waffle iron; grease if necessary.
- Beat all ingredients with wire whisk or possibly hand beater till smooth.
- Pour batter by scant 1 cupfuls onto center of warm waffle iron.
- Bake 3-5 min or possibly till steaming stops & waffle is golden.
- Freezing & Reheating Directions: Stack cooled waffles between waxed paper.
- Wrap in aluminum foil & freeze.
- To reheat in oven, unwrap waffles; remove waxed paper.
- Heat on ungreased cookie sheet in 400' oven 8-10 min or possibly till warm.
- To reheat in microwave, unwrap frzn waffles; remove waxed paper.
- Place on microwavable plate.
- Microwave uncovered on high.
- 1 section 35-45 seconds, 2 sections 1-1 1/2 min, 4 sections 1 1/2-2 min.
- No-Cholesterol Belgian Waffles.
- Substitute 1 1/4 c. skim lowfat milk for the 1 1/3 c. lowfat milk & 2 egg whites or possibly 1/4 c. cholesterol-free egg product for the egg.
