Belgian Waffles Recipe

  1. Heat Belgian waffle iron; grease if necessary.
  2. Beat all ingredients with wire whisk or possibly hand beater till smooth.
  3. Pour batter by scant 1 cupfuls onto center of warm waffle iron.
  4. Bake 3-5 min or possibly till steaming stops & waffle is golden.
  5. Freezing & Reheating Directions: Stack cooled waffles between waxed paper.
  6. Wrap in aluminum foil & freeze.
  7. To reheat in oven, unwrap waffles; remove waxed paper.
  8. Heat on ungreased cookie sheet in 400' oven 8-10 min or possibly till warm.
  9. To reheat in microwave, unwrap frzn waffles; remove waxed paper.
  10. Place on microwavable plate.
  11. Microwave uncovered on high.
  12. 1 section 35-45 seconds, 2 sections 1-1 1/2 min, 4 sections 1 1/2-2 min.
  13. No-Cholesterol Belgian Waffles.
  14. Substitute 1 1/4 c. skim lowfat milk for the 1 1/3 c. lowfat milk & 2 egg whites or possibly 1/4 c. cholesterol-free egg product for the egg.
