World'S Most Delicious Cookies
- 1 c. margarine or butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. light brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 c. vegetable oil
- 1 c. regular oats
- 1 c. crushed corn flakes or any good cereal on hand
- 3 1/2 c. plain flour
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 c. coconut (optional, I use frozen if I use nay)
- 1/2 c. ground pecans
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0. Cream together butter, sugars and egg. Mix well.
- Add remaining ingredients in order given, except pecans.
- Mix well.
- Stir in pecans.
- You may form dough into balls the size of walnuts.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheets and flatten with fork.
- Bake at 325u0b0 to 350u0b0 according to your oven for 15 minutes, until just lightly browned.
- Do not overcook.
- Let cool a few minutes before removing from pans. Makes approximately 6 dozen cookies.
