Bourbon Fudge Sauce

  1. In a saucepan, bring cream to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Remove from heat.
  3. Add chocolate and bourbon and whisk until melted and smooth.
  4. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
  5. Store in a glass jar in the refrigerator.
  6. Reheat in the microwave as needed.
  7. Let sauce thicken for 5 minutes before using.
  8. Variation
  9. Omit the bourbon for a G rating and add 2 tsp (10 mL) vanilla extract.
