Sauerkraut With Peas (Kapusta I Groch) Recipe

  1. Soak mushrooms for approximately 4 hrs.
  2. Soak peas 10 to 12 hrs, cook in same water for 1 hour.
  3. Rinse and squeeze dry the sauerkraut, then chop.
  4. Cover with water.
  5. Bring to a boil.
  6. Add in mushrooms and 1 onion and cook for 1 hour.
  7. Then add in peas and cook for 1/2 hour more.
  8. Blend in 3 Tbsp.
  9. butter, salt and pepper to taste.
