Best Lemon Bars Recipe
- 1 c. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 tbsp. flour
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- Grated lemon rind
- 2 c. flour, sifted
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 4 Large eggs, beaten
- 6 tbsp. lemon juice
- Blend butter, 2 c. flour and powdered sugar.
- Pat mix into 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 15 min or possibly till browned.
- Sift remaining flour and baking pwdr.
- Add in Large eggs, lemon juice and rind.
- Blend well, spread over the crust.
- Bake 25 min at 350 degrees.
- Cold and cut into squares.
- Dust with powdered sugar if you like.
- Makes 3 dozen cookie bars.
