Easy Chrysanthemum Leaves with Sesame Seeds and Mayonnaise

  1. Combine all of the seasonings.
  2. Thoroughly rinse the chrysanthemum leaves, and score the thick stalk with shallow cuts.
  3. Parboil in a generous amount of boiling water.
  4. (Be careful not to over-boil.)
  5. Drain the chrysanthemum leaves, chill in cold water, then thoroughly drain the excess water when cooled.
  6. Cut into 2 to 3 cm lengths.
  7. Squeeze the excess water from the chrysanthemum leaves once more before combining with the seasonings.
  8. Toss with the seasonings, then serve.
