6WBM Rosemary & Thyme Chicken
- 5 lbs boneless chicken breasts, skinless and fresh (about 12-14 medium-sized breasts)
- 8 white pearl onions (skins removed)
- 3 -4 stems fresh rosemary (equal to about 2 tablespoons of leaves)
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, stripped from the stem
- 12 teaspoon cracked pepper (to taste)
- 2 lemons, cut into thick strips
- 15 ounces no-salt-added chicken broth
- Fill the crock pot with alternating layers.
- The first layer is onions, lemon slices, and some of the herbs and pepper.
- On top of that, place 4-5 chicken breasts.
- Alternate until all the ingredients are used up.
- Pour the chicken broth into the crock pot.
- Cook on high for 6 hours or on low for 8-9 hours.
