Fire Water

  1. Place all ingredients in a heavy saucepan and slowly bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  2. Simmer for 20 to 30 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
  4. Pour the mixture into a blender and puree until smooth.
  5. Pass the hot sauce through a mesh strainer lined with cheesecloth, if desired.
