Simple Banana Apple Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Grease 3x 8x4 tins.
  3. Mash bananas.
  4. Mix together wet ingredients with the mashed bananas.
  5. Mix dry ingredients together in a separate bowl.
  6. Stir in wet ingredients into the dry ingredients.
  7. Do not over blend.
  8. Fill tins evenly and bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
  9. Check with a tooth pick starting around the 50 minute mark.
  10. When the toothpick comes out clean, they're done.
  11. Let cool.
  12. (Freeze) Wrap in Cling wrap then a layer of tinfoil to freeze.
  13. Lasts up to 6 months in a deep freeze.
  14. Thaw out overnight in the fridge.
  15. ~Homemade Upgrade~ Use my recipe to make the Applesauce yourself.
  16. +Taste Replace+ Use leftover fruit baby puree or older, soft fruit cooked and mashed instead of applesauce.
  17. *Health Hint* Substitute white sugar with more applesauce and a bit more flour.
