Angel Food Idea Recipe

  1. What to do: In a bowl, mix flour and confectioners sugar.
  2. Set aside.
  3. In a large, clean mixing bowl, beat egg whites, salt, and cream of tartar till foamy.
  4. Beat granulated sugar in, 2 tbsps.
  5. at a time, till stiff peaks form.
  6. Gently mix in vanilla.
  7. Next, sprinkling about 1/4 c. at a time, gently mix in flour/sugar mix just till it disappears into your meringue.
  8. Push 3/4 batter into an ungreased bundt pan.
  9. Spoon 1/4-1/2 container of the whipped topping over batter, making a layer.
  10. Then spread the blueberries over which to make another layer.
  11. Top with a final layer of the remaining batter.
  12. Bake at 375 degrees for about 35-40 min.
  13. Serve with a dallop of whipped topping.
  14. (Very good hot out of the oven!)
