Hokkien Mee Healthier
- 200 g yellow flat noodles
- 4 prawns, shells removed and deveined
- 2 squid, sliced
- 1 chopped garlic
- 1 cai xin, cut into section
- 2 chopped button mushrooms
- 1 cup stock
- 1 cup cornstarch, mixture
- 12 tablespoon light soy sauce
- 12 tablespoon oyster sauce
- Stir-fried the prawns, squids , chopped button mushrooms and cai xin with garlic.
- Set aside.
- In a pot, cook the noodle with enough stock to cover it.
- When the noodle is cooked, add in the seasonings, prawns, squids, fish cakes and cai xin.
- Let it cook for 1/2 minute then slowly stir-in the corn-starch mixture to thicken the sauce.
- Serve.
