French Strawberry Tart

  1. Combine cream cheese, sugar, lemon peel, and lemon juice; mix well and spread in baked shell.
  2. Top with berries.
  3. Combine cornstarch and water; add preserves.
  4. Bring to boiling, stirring constantly; cook and stir until thick and clear.
  5. Remove from heat; add 2 tablespoons lemon juice.
  6. Cool to room temperature and pour over berries.
  7. Chill until set.
