Elvis Waffles

  1. Warm up waffle iron ( can make pancakes if you wish to instead ).
  2. In medium bowl combine mix, egg, milk and bananas.
  3. Combine until well mixed.
  4. Spray the waffle iron with butter spray and a 1/2 cup measure.
  5. Using the measuring cup, ladle mixture onto warmed waffle iron and cook according to instruction to your waffle iron.
  6. Mine says until the steaming quits, but I find that is too long.
  7. The sugars in the bananas will , what I call, crystallize.
  8. Remove to platter and keep warm while you finish off the other waffles.
  9. I find that by 1/2 cup measures I get 4 good sized waffles.
  10. In 4 small bowls, divide the peanut butter and the honey.
  11. Warm this up right before serving in the microwave to make a Peanut Butter Syrup.
  12. Place still warm waffles on plate, pour syrup on top or serve on the side in their little bowls.
