Spicy Mixed Nuts
- 3 tablespoons peanut oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon low-sodium tamari
- 12 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- 1 dash red pepper flakes
- 12 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 cup whole almond
- 1 cup raw cashews
- 1 cup pecan halves
- 1 cup raw peanuts
- Preheat oven to 350.
- In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
- When oil is hot, add garlic and saute until softened, about 10 seconds.
- Add soy saucy, cumin, curry powder, red-pepper flakes, and chili powder.
- Stir well.
- Add mixed nuts and stir until thoroughly coated with spices.
- Transfer nut mix to a baking sheet.
- Bake 15-20 minutes, stirring frequently to bake evenly.
- Remove from oven and cool.
- Store in an airtight container.
