Pork Chops and Apple Slices
- 4 pork loin chops, well trimed
- 2 md. apples, peeled, cored, sliced
- 1 tsp. butter
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Brown chops quickly, drain well.
- Arrange layer of apples in crock, then layer of chops; repeat.
- Dot with butter sprinkle with nutmeg.
- Add salt and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours.
