Apple Baked Ham

  1. 1. preheat oven to 275 degrees.
  2. Remove ham from wrapper and place cut side down in large roasting or baking pan.
  3. Stud ham with cloves.
  4. Cover tightly with foil and bake 1 hour, 20 minutes (10 minutes per pound).

  6. Meanwhile, in a medium skillet melt butter over medium heat.
  7. Add apples, cook and stir 2 minutes.
  8. Stir in jelly, vinegar and mustard; cook 2 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until slightly thickened.
  9. Remove skillet from heat; set aside.

  11. Remove ham from oven: raise heat to 375 degrees.
  12. Uncover ham and spoon apple mixture over ham.
  13. Return ham to oven; bake, uncovered, 20 minutes or until glaze and apples are golden.
