Cecile's Florentines

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Combine all ingredients except chocolate.
  3. Drop teaspoonfuls of dough, 2 inches apart, onto greased and lightly floured baking sheets.
  4. Bake 10 to 12 min.
  5. or until edges are lightly browned.
  6. Cool on baking sheets 3 min.
  7. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
  8. Melt chocolate as directed on package; spread onto bottoms of cookies.
  9. Run tines of fork over chocolate.
  10. Let stand, chocolate-sides up, until chocolate is firm.
