Jiffy Cinnamon Rolls

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 3 cups flour, cake mix, yeast, salt and warm water.
  2. Mix until smooth, add enough remaining flour to form a soft dough.
  3. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface. Knead until smooth, about 6 to 8 minutes.
  4. Roll dough into a 9 x 18-inch rectangle.
  5. Spread with butter and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
  6. Roll dough jelly-roll style, starting with the long end.
  7. Slice the dough into 1-inch circles, place on greased cookie sheet.
  8. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 15 minutes.
  9. Bake at 350u0b0 for 15 to 18 minutes.
  10. Frost, if desired. Makes about 18 rolls.
