Pork Chops Teriyaki
- 3 tbsp. reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp. maple or maple-flavor syrup
- 1 tbsp. peeled, minced gingerroot
- 2 tsp. seasoned rice vinegar
- 1 tsp. grated orange peel
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper sauce
- 4 pork loin or rib chops
- Preheat broiler if manufacturer directs.
- In 13- by 9-inch metal baking pan, with spoon, mix soy sauce, maple syrup, minced gingerroot, rice vinegar, grated orange peel, and cayenne pepper sauce.
- Add pork chops, turning to coat with mixture.
- Place baking pan in broiler at closest position to source of heat; broil pork chops 10 minutes, turning chops once, until they just lose their pink color throughout.
- Place pork chops on 4 dinner plates.
- Skim fat from pan juice; pour pan juice over pork chops.
