Baked Fresh Corn Casserole Recipe
- 12 x Ears fresh corn, cut from the cobb
- 1 c. Water
- 1 1/4 lb American cheese
- 1 c. Heavy cream
- 1 c. Smoked sausage, diced
- 1 sm Sweet onion, diced finely Crushed potato chip crumbs Salt & pepper to taste
- In a large pan over medium-high heat, heat cheese in water.
- When cheese is melted, add in all remaining ingredients except chip crumbs and combine.
- Heat through.
- Season with salt & pepper.
- Place in a large casserole dish and top with a layer of potato chip crumbs.
- Bake, covered at 350 degrees for 25-30 min or possibly till heated through.
- Remove cover and brown on top.
