Italian Style Meatloaf
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3/4 cup Italian Style breadcrumbs
- 1 raw egg
- 3/4 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
- 3/4 cup Tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 1 tbsp parsley
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1/2 sweet onion, minced
- 1/2 green bell pepper, finely chopped
- 1 seasoned salt & black pepper, to taste
- 3 tbsp Tomato sauce, for spreading on top of meatloaf
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Mix all ingredients into meat, except for the 2 TBS.
- of sauce, and form into a football shape.
- Place into greased casserole dish or loaf pan.
- Before putting in the oven, spread the final 2 TBS.
- of tomato sauce onto the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake at 350F for about an hour, or until internal temperature reaches 165F.
