Salt and Pepper Kale Chips Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Wash kale and thoroughly dry in a salad spinner.
  2. Put kale into a large bowl, drizzle with oil, and toss to coat evenly.
  3. Arrange leaves in a single layer on 2 baking sheets.
  4. Bake, switching pan positions after about 10 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and bake until leaves are crisp but not browned, turning over as needed, about 5 minutes more.
  6. Let cool completely.
  7. Store in an airtight container up to 3 days ahead.
