Six Layer Dip Recipe
- 3 avocados (peeled and pitted)
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 c. cream cheese, softened
- 2 c. lowfat sour cream
- 1 (15/16 ounce.) pkg. taco seasoning mix
- 2 c. sharp cheddar cheese, shreded
- 3 c. tomatoes, minced fine
- 5 green onions, white and green parts, sliced
- 1/2 c. black olives, sliced
- Layer One: Mash avocados and mix well with lemon juice; spread in bottom of casserole dish.
- Layer Two: Beat cream cheese till smooth.
- Blend in lowfat sour cream and taco seasoning, mix well.
- Spread over avocado mix.
- Layer Three: Sprinkle cheese over layer two.
- Layer Four: Sprinkle tomatoes over layer three.
- Layer Five: Spread onions over layer four.
- Layer Six: Top with black olives.
- Serve at room temperature.
- Yields approximately 10 1/2 c..
