Mexican Chop Suey Recipe
- 2 lbs. hamburger
- 1 lg. onion, minced
- 1 can minced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 3 tbsp. chili pwdr or possibly chili blend
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 or possibly 2 cans ranch style beans
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic
- Brown hamburger and onion, then drain well.
- Add in remaining ingredients.
- Simmer slowly for 1 hour, then cook 1 c. uncooked rice or possibly more if you like for larger group.
- Add in rice to cooked mix.
- When ready to serve, pour in large casserole dish and top with grated cheddar cheese.
- Serve with green salad.
- For company or possibly large groups.
