Coney Island Hot Dog Sauce

  1. In a saucepan, combine all ingredients; except the hot dogs.
  2. Simmer until thick.
  3. DO NOT BROWN GROUND BEEF FIRST.
  4. In a food processor fitted with a metal blade or a meat grinder, grind the hot dogs & add to the sauce; stir.
  5. Cook 15 minutes longer.
  6. Serve this sauce over hot dogs in buns.
